English Text Below.

Tú lo has dicho.

TNT: ¿Qué podemos esperar de vuestro show aquí? ¿Sería posible ver cosas nuevas?

JONA:¡Es posible!

JONA: He empezado a contestar esta pregunta antes.

ENGLISH TEXT:

TNT: H.E.A.T. was formed twelve years ago and you have evolved importantly. Looking back the begginings are lived with certain longing. What do you remember about that? What feelings do you have looking back?

Jona: I tend to remember all the good times. We have been lucky to been given the chance to see the world and play on many great stages.

TNT: Your music always was calified Eighties Glam Metal or Hard Rock, influenced for bands such Bon Jovi or Europe. How do you define your music and what changes did you have in your style along albums?

Jona: I guess we have huge 80's influences. It's hard to tell I think. You evolved to this complete mashup of so much music. But we also get inspired by classic heavy metal, rock n roll, blues, AOR. You name it. But following the timeline I think we've evolved inte a "harder" band. Lyrics aren't all about love and the sound is bigger.

TNT: If in the Eighties were american bands who led this style, swedish bands perhaps are who caught the takeoversince the change of century. Now sweedish bands are the referring of the style but you don’t have the media recognition the american bands had in the eighties. Do you think is more dificult have that from Sweden?

Jona: It's true that there were a lot of American bands playing this style of music in the 80's. But there were bands from other countries as well, Europe from our home town to name one. But the American market was the one everyone wanted to reach. At the moment it seems the heavier metal acts play the big stages in the states, apart from the bands that were huge in the 80's. We've never really tried to reach the American market. We played in Chicago twice and are going on the Monster Of Rock-cruise next year, that's all. Maybe it is more difficult. Hopefully we can experience an uprising of this music with the newer bands as well at some point.

TNT: Since Kenny Leckremo left the band and Erik Grönwall joint it you have edited three studio albums. The last is “Into the Great Unknown” wich have broken a Little with your past. With its your music have evolved but I think it was a risky gamble.  How do you see it now, two years after, the fans reception of the record? Do you feel you have reached more people than before?

Jona: I think we are on about the same level as we were before. We tried some new angles with ITGU, the record company also wanted us to look into some more modern stuff. So we gave it a go. I think it's a great album and it got great reviews. But i'm not sure it was the best crowd-pleaser.

TNT: Do you got your desired sound with this job, or your next Jobs are gonna evolving to a more modern sound?

Jona: I think we have all the songs ready for the next album. Two of them already recorded and ready for release this year. And I can tell you it's gonna be massive. It will be like a mashup between “Address The Nation” and “Tearing Down The Walls” - on stereoids. Pure H.E.A.T. We ask ourselves the question with every song - can we see us doing this on a stage? If the answer is "yes", we're on the right path.

TNT: In 2015 you edited one live álbum: “Live in London” and only  4 years after that you are gonna editing another live álbum. Why did you decide it? What are we gonna found in this “Live at Sweden Rock Festival”?

Jona: First of all - it's a FILMED concert. It's gonna be out on Blu-ray. And this is something people have been wanting for years. So that's a big difference from Live in London.  It's a really cool concert. Two songs are already out on youtube.” Living on the run” and “Eye of the storm”. Also all our music videos will be on it as a bonus and some behind the scenes footage from the studio and more.

TNT: The music industry changed a lot along the years and that have avantatges and disavantatges too. Now the bands have to be on tour all time to be recognized by the people. Did internet change the industry to a worst music world? How do you live this changes?

Jona: You just have to roll with the punches on this. No need to dwell in the past. And we never got the experience the age of selling CD's. We arrived just as it was dying. Haha. BUT. We like being on tour!

TNT: Next august you will be headlining Ripollet Rock Festival. What do you know about this festival?

Jona : I met Jens and Jens from Crazy Lixx at Sweden Rock Festival a couple of weeks back. They told me we will have a good time. And I take their word for it.

TNT: What mean for you headline this festival?

Jona: We are honoured to play there. We will do our very best to bring our A-game!

TNT: What can we expect about your show there? Could we see any new things?

Jona: That is possible! We are talking about playing some new stuff and maybe we have new music out by then.

TNT: After Ripollet rock could be posible we can see you on a venue tour in Spain?

Jona: The plan is to tour Europe the spring 2020. So I would keep my eyes open for when we're releasing dates.

TNT: Next February you will be at Monsters of Rock Cruise at EEUU, with bands such Extreme, Stryper, Vixen, etc.  What feelings do you have about it?

Jona: Really looking forward to that. Heard a lot of great things about the cruise!

TNT: When can we have new H.E.A.T. studio album? Do you have new material by now or not yet?

Jona: I started to answer this question before. I don't have the exact dates for the album release. We have two massive songs already recorded and will be released by the end of summer. And we're entering the studio in July to record the rest of them!

TNT: Thanks for your answers Jona, see you in Ripollet Rock
